A quest equal to a task

A quest is a task that a player character or a group of player-controlled characters takes in order to gain a reward. A quest includes massively multiplayer online role-playing games and their text based predecessors Multi-user dungeons in role playing games. When task is successfully accomplished a player character will be rewarded in the forms of an incense in the character’s experience which in turn allow player to learn new skills and abilities, and loot or treasure in game currency including gold coins, even access to new locations or areas, last but not the least any combination of many forms. Quest category covers killing quests, gathering quests, delivering quests and escorting quests. Quests can be formed quest series and chains by linking together. In those cases, player is provided with further background to the setting their characters are in. This mechanism is also used to advance any story or plot the game might have.
