Players who belong to your opposing factions will always be considered evil no matter what their alignment is. The way to see if a player is good or evil is by targeting him. If the color of his name turns to blue, he is regard good and it will take you an alignment hit to kill him while you acquire an alignment by killing him whose name appears in red. You will be published by attacking a blue character, you will result in going rogue for a few minutes. You are in danger because other players can kill you without penalty no matter what your alignment is.
